Here you will find articles where we discuss new judgments.

First of all, we write about judgments of the Supreme Court. These are judgments of principled interest. The decisions of the Supreme Court are given importance to how to resolve similar questions in other, subsequent cases. Generally, the Supreme Court does not pass many judgments in the area of the contract law for the individual year.

Most cases stop after the case is heard in one of the courts of appeal. It can either be because the verdict is not appealed or it is appealed, but without dropping into the Supreme Court. This means that also judgments from the courts of appeal can contain a lot of interesting material with relevant learning value. We will therefore take judgments from the courts of appeal we find to be of particular or general interest.

When we write reviews of judgments, we try to simplify and not make the articles overly comprehensive.

We are grateful for your input if there is something you miss, something we should write more about, or if we should shorten it. Send us an email to firmapost@byggogprosjektjus.no.
