Anyone who participates directly or indirectly in a construction project makes decisions that are, or could become, legally relevant.
Knowledge of basic law is therefore essential.
Many people do not have access to legal assistance within their organization, and when contacting a lawyer or lawyer it is because a dispute has arisen.
We know that knowledge of relevant law is conflict prevention. Knowledge will in any case be able to limit the scope of a possible dispute.
Our ambition is to offer knowledge of relevant law to all those involved in the development, implementation and completion of construction or construction projects. For contractors, for builders, for hired project or construction managers and others who need this kind of knowledge.
Everything you find on our platform is developed by experienced lawyers in the areas of law presented.
In order to have access to all articles and the opportunity for conversations with us on relevant issues, the price for a one-year subscription is not higher than the hourly rate for a partner in a larger, Oslo-based law firm. If you also want to subscribe to the e-learning modules, you will need to add an extra half hour to have access for one year.
At the launch of the service, you will find about 80 articles on key legal issues written in an easy-to-understand and educational way. You can read an article here In addition, you will find 13 e-learning modules that correspond to about 12 hours of physical course teaching. The number of articles (and topics) will increase steadily as will the e-learning modules.
On the landing page you will also find the tab “FAQ” where we collect topical questions and issues with corresponding answers. This is intended as a supplement to articles and courses. Over time, the “FAQ” will consist of questions we have received from subscribers, and our answers. In this way, the platform will be developed in cooperation between us and the subscribers.
If you would like to discuss general legal issues with us, please send us an email to firmapost@byggogprosjektjus.no.
We will then contact you to arrange a time for a call.
BPJ does not undertake assignments as a lawyer. Accordingly, we cannot advise you or assess your legal position in a specific dispute. Of course, we know many skilled lawyers and will be able to name several options if you need it.
On the other hand, we are very happy to undertake assignments as extrajudicial mediators, and you can read more about extrajudicial mediator here '
An annual subscription to BPJ costs the same as 1—2 hours with a lawyer from a large law firm. In this way, we make relevant, legal knowledge accessible to everyone.
